What’s included in camp fees?

Camps at CIS range from $680 - $700 (inclusive of GST).

This fee includes the following:
  • Morning snack, lunch and drinks
  • Camp t-shirt
  • Camp name badge
  • Celebration certificate
  • Field trips and/or special on-site activities or guest speakers (where applicable)

Please note that bus transportation is not included in your holiday camp fees. See the bus transportation section for further details.

What are camp hours and when does my child need to arrive?
  • Our camps run from 9am to 3pm. Morning snack is from 10.30 to 11.00am and lunch between 12.30 and 1.30pm.
  • Children should arrive by 8.45am (follow the signs when you arrive).
  • Registration takes place at Lakeside level 1 canteen and Tanjong Katong entrance foyer.
  • This information and more will be shared in your welcome email sent on Wednesday prior to your camp week. (If unsure of where to go, you may check in at the enquiry tables at each campus, locations as above).
  • Please collect your child from Lakeside level 1 canteen and Tanjong Katong entrance foyer at 3pm.
If it is your child’s first time at camp, don’t worry, our camp leaders will guide you to ensure your child settles quickly into camp life. If an adult other than the one registered will be collecting your child, please email us at holidaycamps@cis.edu.sg to let us know.
Who are camps for?

Due to CIS's COVID and safeguarding measures, camps do not include showcases for parents. Under PDPA requirements, videos are not taken / provided.

Does my child need to bring anything with them to camp?

Hooray! No uniform is needed at camp. All campers should wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes (no flip flops please) and bring a filled water bottle, hat/cap, sunscreen.

Anything else that your child needs to bring to camp will be in the welcome email that is sent the Wednesday before your child’s camp starts.

PLEASE NOTE: The welcome email will be sent to the email address under which the camp was booked. (Please check your SPAM/JUNK folder if you do not receive.)

My child’s English level is low, can they still join?

If your child’s English level is low, they may still join. There may be some camps that will be more suitable to their level. Please email us at holidaycamps@cis.edu.sg where we will be able to guide you on your choice of camp.

Can I choose an alternative camp?

If you want to choose an alternative camp following registration, please email us at holidaycamps@cis.edu.sg and we will do our best to accommodate you. Once the camp starts, transfers between camps are not allowed.

How do I book the camp bus? And what is the cost?

Price: $80 for a one week camp (5 days), per child to and from camp. There will be no proration for shorter duration camps due to public holidays or other non-attended days.

  • The camp bus service is not a door to door service. Buses collect and drop campers (children) off at 16 pre-designated points*. Pick up and drop off points are outlined by campus: Lakeside campus or Tanjong Katong campus.
  • After selecting the bus option in the camp registration form, parents must complete and send this form to Yeap Transport.
  • Please be at your bus stop 5 minutes early, ready for your bus arrival!
  • Pick up and drop off must be at the same bus stop. Buses will wait for 1 minute after the designated timing before moving to the next point. Please be punctual to avoid any inconvenience.
  • The morning bus service will arrive at school by 8.45am, so children are ready for a 9am camp start. After camp buses leave around 3.10pm.
  • IMPORTANT! Children aged 8 and below MUST be met by an adult at their respective drop-off point. They will not be allowed to leave the bus if there is no adult present. Children aged 9 and above will be dropped off with/without an adult present.
  • All buses have an attendant on board to supervise the children.
  • For insurance reasons, only registered bus riders are allowed on the bus.
  • All buses are licensed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), have seatbelts, and are fully air-conditioned.
  • To make any changes to the bus stop you selected or to enquire about your bus booking, please contact Yeap Transport directly. Any changes must be made at least 7 days before each camp. Failure to do so will result in bus fees being forfeited - no refund will be given.

*We require a minimum number of bus registrations before we confirm bus services.

Lunch and snacks

A morning snack, drink and lunch is included in the camp fees. A meat and vegetarian option will be available each day. You can view the menus below:

If your child does not like what is available on any given day, please pack a snack and lunch accordingly. Please note that no refund is available and that CIS operates a no nuts policy.

Payment deadline and terms
  • All fees must be paid in full to the school within 7 days of submitting an online application, or before the commencement of the programme (should the camp commence less than 7 working days from the date of application).
  • Your child's place will only be confirmed upon receipt of the full fee payment. Until payment is received, the enrolment is subject to availability.
  • Holiday camp fees, once paid, are non-refundable.

Credit card payments can be made via independent third party provider CardUp at https://cardup.co/cis. CardUp charges processing fees for all credit card payments - please refer to their website for details.

  1. Log in to your bank’s internet banking platform or mobile banking app
  2. Select the option to make a transfer > and select PayNow
  3. At the PayNow transfer screen, enter this code (UEN) 199002243HDBS

  5. Enter the amount to be transferred
  6. Enter your CIS invoice number into the description/reference field
  7. Submit and confirm to make payment
