through a series of activities and exercises to strength their English and in

Orienteering is a sport that requires navigational skills, using a map and compass, to move from point to point.
It is a lifetime fitness sport that challenges the mind, increases confidence
and self-reliance, improves decision-making skills, and relates to all academic
disciplines. While it offers these benefits and more, its real attraction is
that it is fun!
Students will learn map reading skills, and
become proficient in the use of a compass. They will learn to navigate existing
orienteering courses, and they will also plan and map their own orienteering

Multisport week camp is a great place for any
sport enthusiast who is looking to improve their skills, make new friends and
We provide a fast-paced athletic atmosphere for
all skill levels and abilities to teach a variety of sports, from hockey to
soccer. Campers are separated into teams to encourage competitive balance
within their age. We believe that this fosters the best environment for campers
to both enjoy their camp week and grow from their experience while building
relationships with their teammates.
Multiple Sports Camp
9 to 11 years old
These activities will offer opportunities for
campers to adapt and grow socially, emotionally and physically as they improve
their skills. There will be a blend activities with focus on net and ball,
racket and invasion skills. Working
through a variety of sports will provide improve confidence in trying something
new, develop strategic skills and perhaps generate an interest in a potential
hobby. The excellent facilities at CIS
will be our playground as we will move from the artificial turf football pitch
to swimming pool to gyms and utility rooms depending on the activity.
Creativity & Performance
This programme will explore branches of science
through child-friendly, hands-on, fun-filled activities. From physics to cool
chemistry, if your child is mad about science, this programme is for them!
Campers will be engaged in individual
and collaborative learning activities that not only deepen their scientific
knowledge, but also ignite and foster their natural curiosity. They will be
encouraged to develop their English language skills as much as possible through
reading and using computers to research information, and a variety of writing
and speaking activities.
A trip to the Science Centre is a highlight of this programme.
